About The Dons

Welcome, we’re The Dons, a professional function band with over 15 years experience performing at events all over the UK and beyond. We have toured across the USA, and Europe, including the legendary Glastonbury Festival, South by Southwest in Texas, and iconic cities such as Los Angeles and New York, sharing stages with musical giants like Biffy Clyro, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Mumford & Sons, and The Kaiser Chiefs.

We’re able to tailor our package to each event ensuring you get the most out of your celebrations. Our sets are fun and interactive, so expect electrifying performances, full dancefloors and anthemic sing-a-longs . We feature a genre-busting musical repertoire spanning decades, from the timeless classics of Chuck Berry and The Beatles to the hits of Duran Duran, A-ha, 90’s classics from Blur, Oasis and Green Day, some unexpected 00’s anthems from Shaggy and Black Eyed Peas, right the way to the very best of today's mega stars including Ed Sheeran & Harry Styles.

You can choose from live sets of: 2 x 45 minutes, 3 x 40 minutes, or 2 x 60 minutes. For those who want the party to keep going, we provide a DJ service between and after sets, complete with song requests, a laptop loaded with thousands of tracks, and a band member available to take requests and make announcements. 

Our Laptop DJ service is complimentary if you book within 7 days of receiving your quote.

As a fully self-contained band, we come equipped with our high-quality PA sound system and lighting as standard. As standard the band is a 3 piece, however, If you've got more space and want an even bigger sound you can also choose to upgrade to our 4-piece band The Dukes.
